What A Mega Surprise!!

Santa came mega early this year and delivered a yummy package full of goodies from the generous people behind Mega Sardines and Valley Farm Luncheon Meat.

I am pretty sure the boys had fun eating their breakfasts, lunches, and dinners!

To Jean and Mark, we greatly appreciate the help and support you so generously extended to us. We look forward to partnering with you again! THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. May God bless you and your Mega family a hundredfold!

Year 2 is about to begin and I hope you Angels are not tired of helping out. Can we still count on your generous hearts? (Please nod... There you go! Yey!)

Sweet as (Ice) Candy

A few close friends decided to share some fruit salad ingredients for the JamJar project last quarter, and guess what I made? I'm betting you saw the title of this post and said, "Ice Candy!" Right on! I did make Ice Candy - Fruit Salad-flavored Ice Candy, to be exact.

"The Flyer on the Refrigerator Door"

Sales from the Ice Candy raked in P810 (not bad.. ΓΌ), and unfortunately for my loyal customers, they're sold out!

Thank you to those who donated their "Christmas Basket" goodies: Neza, Kiko, Candy, and Joe. I hope I didn't forget anyone.

And thank you to those who patronized the "Charity" Ice Candy: Angie, Archie, Ben, Bryan, Chanly, Dexter, Emman, Erica, Icot, Jason, Jaypee, Jemmy, Joshua, Juvenal, Lorraine, Marjo, Ms. Nelly, Neza (todo supporta talaga tong isang 'to, yehey!), Manang Norma, Regina, Sam, Sev, and Vince.

'Til the next batch of frozen goodness! ;)

We Gave a Little Love and Made This World a Little Better

Turn up the volume and listen to Ziggy Marley sing exactly what we are all doing together for our less fortunate brothers in the world, well in Taberna at least. For now.

"Maybe we can find a way, there's got to be a solution how to make a brighter day. What do we do? We got to give a little love, have a little hope, make this world a little better. Try a little more, harder than before, let's do what we can do together."

Good news, Angels! (I sound a bit like Charlie from that famous movie now, don't I?)

As of today, your generous hearts - and pockets - just provided the future scholars of CITE a whopping P30,416.15 and we haven't even collected from everyone yet! Imagine how much greater that amount would be come March. We are certain to make someone's world a little better by making his dreams of pursuing higher education come true.

Again, THANK YOU and may God reward you for your kindness.

We've Been Featured!

What an extraordinary way to start the year! Leyte's newest weekly paper, Leyte News, featured the story of the JamJar Project on its maiden issue, which first hit local newsstands last January 3, 2012:

Oops! The publisher unintentionally cropped part of the picture. Sorry, tutors! =(

Here's hoping 2012 brings both the JamJar Project and Leyte News much success in their respective goals and objectives.. Cheers to the new year!
